Looking in a southerly direction from Belstone Tor towards Oke Tor and deeper into the northern moor. The rich-golden evening light was magical, catching crystals in the granite rocks and making the coarse-moorland grasses look light and feathery.

A beautiful late-spring morning in Abbeyford Woods, following one of the many winding footpaths.
Looking out from the southern flank of Abbeyford Woods, across Okehampton, to the northern flank of Dartmoor National Park. With West Mill Tor and Yes Tor clearly visible.
The naked branches of an old oak tree reach out towards the heavens. Whilst the photo looked great in colour, I thought black and white really emphasised the branches against the clouds.
